Sound 'n' Dry - Dri Aid Kits

To prolong the life of your hearing device there are two important actions that you can take - the first is to regularly clean your device so that it is kept free of earwax as much as possible, and the second is to ensure that as much moisture as possible is eliminated from your hearing aids, especially if you live in a hot humid climate.

Moisture build up in hearing aids can affect the delicate internal electronic circuitry of your hearing aid, and over time the performance of your hearing aids and the life of your batteries may deteriorate.

To assist you with eliminating moisture there is a product which is available from all Widex dispensers - the Sound 'n' Dry Dri-Aid Kit. Consisting of a plastic air tight tub which contains crystals that act like a sponge to remove moisture, all that you need to do is place your hearing aids inside the plastic tub when they are not in use and the crystals will go to work drawing any moisture from the hearing aid that may have buit up over the course of the day.

To find out more about Sound 'n' Dry Dri Aid kits either contact your Hearing Aid dispenser or alternatively call our customer service department on 1800 999 659.

** Hearing Aids should never by immersed in water or dried using any sort of conventional or microwave oven - any of these actions will void you warranty. Use only the methods of caring for your device that are explained to you by your dispenser or alternatively contact us for assistance.
